WHO WE ARE
Peter and David played rugby football together at Saracens in the seventies, so understand the team ethic and concepts of motivation, too.
With a combined 60 years of experience in management, they have necessarily built a big network of contacts and business acquaintances. Many of those are now, as a result of their age and experience, working in the consultancy field, and there is a real opportunity to match that expertise with the specific needs of small businesses.
Peter Hawkins
Peter is a highly skilled sales professional with the capacity to think strategically, tactically and commercially. A natural leader and motivator, and able to inspire at all levels from board-room to shop floor, his previous job titles include Sales Director, Country Manager, Area Vice President and Managing Director. He is vastly experienced in a number of industries and applications with a wide knowledge of system integrators and consultancies around the world, but especially in Europe. He has demonstrated his ability to build successful teams in many different sales situations, with great interpersonal skills and a real commitment to achieving the company goals.
David Croydon
In his early years, David worked in marketing departments of various corporations and international companies. Then he moved to the agency side of the fence and worked in sales promotion, advertising, sponsorship, incentive travel and direct marketing, before setting up his own consultancy, Marketing Principles Ltd, based in Oxford, which he ran for 13 years, before selling out to an American multi-national. He has worked in most business sectors both consumer and business to business and understands what it is like to run a small business himself. He has himself been acting as a small business advisor since the successful sale of his own company.
